When Utaha Kasumigaoka pointed this out, she became embarrassed and rebutted immediately. She seems angry and annoyed every time they have conversations in the circle, especially with Tomoya. She attempts to hide her feelings for Tomoya although they are very obvious. When Akane Kosaka insulted her drawing skills and said that they were mediocre, Eriri was very offended and drove herself to produce more art to prove Akane wrong, subsequently pulling herself out of her art slump.Įriri also has a tsundere-like personality and gets embarrassed and blushes very easily. She is very hardworking as her occupation as an artist and with the support from Tomoya. She is famous for being classy and independent, but she really is emotional and ferocious, as described by Tomoya. However, almost none of them know about her otaku side. When nobody is around, she reverts into a hardcore otaku just like Tomoya Aki. Because of her manners, she is respected and idolized by other students at the school. At home, she wears glasses and a green tracksuit.Įriri is a model and sophisticated young lady at school. She is usually depicted in her school uniform or casual clothes. ![]() Her face features and build resembles Sayuri Sawamura (Eriri's mother) heavily. She has small breasts, Utaha Kasumigaoka sometimes teases Eriri about it. In the anime when there is a close up shot of her face, a small fang connected to her lip can be seen. Her eyes are light blue and she has very pale skin, which is probably inherited from her father. Deserves more recognition.Eriri is a beautiful, petite girl with long, straight blonde hair, which is usually tied up into twin-tails, laced with two blue ribbons. It looks like a basic spinoff, but after reading it, it just left a different mark than even the original story. Definitely would recommend to any romcom lover. I liked the original story, both light novel and anime, but in all honestly I prefer this spin-off. They each also have their own quirks which make them more enjoyable. They're also quite relatable internally characters (except like the fame). Their chemistry works really well, with their conversations often bouncing off of each other very well. They each have their own separate motives and goals, but they all link together. They aren't really based off of your typical character tropes, tho they do have traits that are reminiscent of the generic tropes. The characters here are all especially well designed. The funny bits are funny, the emotional bits are emotional, and the normal bits aren't stale. The art is what exactly what you'd expect from a good drama. Some people may prefer that while other don't, but that's up to personal taste in the end.īeyond phenomenal. A big difference between this and the parent story is that this is not a harem. It gives the story flavour that other typical romcoms tend to lack. Especially with the main push not being on their romance or drama, but the common goal between them, of their goals and dreams of writing the novel and The premise may sound very simple, just the typical guy somehow gets acquainted to admirable girl, but the reasons behind their motivations that make this story stand out. It has its heart-warming moments, and the pace does not ever once feel rushed or dragged out. (possible spoilers? nothing too big tho.) The spin-off feels better than the parent story, and that's already saying something.
